MetaMask stated that to ensure user safety, it has coordinated with relevant partners to take preventive measures and is currently exiting the affected validator nodes in its non-custodial staking business. Based on the investigation results so far, there is no indication that the MetaMask wallet or customer funds have been affected.
This morning's news reported that part of the infrastructure of MetaMask's non-custodial staking business encountered a security incident. As a preventive measure, the validators it operates on Lido have begun to exit.
