BlockBeats news, October 1 — According to the latest report, Micron Technology (MU.O) reported Q4 revenue of $54.229 billion for fiscal year 2026, compared with $11.315 billion in the same period last year and market expectations of $50.584 billion. Micron also provided current-quarter sales guidance that exceeded expectations, as the rapid development of artificial intelligence has driven unprecedented demand.
The company said in a statement on Wednesday that it expects revenue for the first quarter of the next fiscal year to be approximately $60 billion to $63 billion, while analysts had expected an average of $56.8 billion. The company expects memory and storage supply and demand conditions in fiscal years 2027 and 2028 to be much tighter than in 2026. Excluding certain items, profit will be approximately $38.15 per share, compared with a forecast of $36.02.
After the report was released, the stock rose less than 1% in after-hours trading.
