Kioxia's "1-for-3 split" has triggered on-chain unified settlement, with the largest long position exiting at a loss just before breaking even.

BlockBeats news, September 28: According to TradingBeats monitoring, the Kioxia stock split triggered the unified settlement of the KIOXIA perpetual contract deployed by Trade.xyz on Hyperliquid. Old positions in on-chain accounts were closed at $338.38, and some positions have not yet returned to their entry cost, with unrealized losses converted into realized losses.


Among the top 20 settlement accounts on the holdings leaderboard, 8 accounts settled at a loss, involving approximately $3.6785 million in positions, with confirmed losses of about $161,400; among the top five on the holdings leaderboard, 4 accounts exited at a loss, involving a total of approximately $2.8017 million in positions, with confirmed losses of about $80,300.


The long position of approximately $1.0473 million is the largest in the entire market and the only whale exceeding $1 million. Its position holds 3,094.963 contracts, with a cost of $343.99. The settlement price was only about 1.66% away from the cost, ultimately confirming a loss of about $17,400 (0x053f).
