Circle is moving to expand its presence in South Korea, recruiting a "Senior Director of Ecosystem Growth."

BlockBeats news, September 28: Stablecoin issuer Circle is moving to expand its stablecoin ecosystem presence in South Korea. The company is formulating a market entry strategy for South Korea and is recruiting senior executives responsible for cooperation with the financial and digital asset industries and for understanding regulatory developments, in order to further strengthen ties with South Korea's stablecoin market.


According to a job posting published by Circle on September 28, the company is hiring a "Senior Director of Ecosystem Growth" in South Korea, a full-time permanent position. The role requires candidates to have a deep understanding of stablecoins, decentralized finance (DeFi), and institutional finance business, and to be responsible for researching market trends in areas such as South Korean payments, digital asset capital markets, and institutional applications.


The position will also participate in formulating Circle's South Korea market entry strategy, including providing the company's sales and business development teams with South Korean market and regulatory information, and based on that participating in determining the business pipeline and market entry sequence. In addition, the role will be responsible for expanding connections with South Korea's financial and digital asset industries, identifying market participants and ecosystem partners, and feeding South Korean market demand back to Circle's product, solutions, and operations teams.
