BlockBeats news, September 29 — South Korea's Kakao Pay Securities has entered into separate partnerships with Ondo Finance and Dinari to explore the tokenization of Korean-listed stocks and provide overseas investors with on-chain investment channels.
Kakao Pay Securities is one of South Korea's major online brokerages, backed by the Kakao financial ecosystem. As of the first half of 2026, its client assets under custody have exceeded 21 trillion Korean won (approximately $15 billion), with monthly stock trading users reaching about 1.61 million. The partnerships aim to study bringing Korean equity assets onto the blockchain, enhancing the accessibility of traditional securities assets through tokenization, and providing new avenues for overseas investors to participate in the Korean stock market.
