DeepSeek Harness official desktop client leaks: No official announcement, but it can already be installed on Mac and Windows.

Beating AI News Flash: The official desktop client for DeepSeek Harness has leaked. DeepSeek has not yet made an official announcement, and there is no public download entry on the official website, but macOS and Windows installation packages have already appeared on the official server, and tests show they can be installed and used normally.

The desktop client is based on Electron, packaging the original Web version of Harness into a standalone App. Users can log in with a DeepSeek account or enter an API Key, then select a local folder as the workspace, without needing to start the Web service themselves first.

The official repository has also recently been intensively filling out desktop client features. The latest dsh v0.1.7-rc.2 adds first-use onboarding, shortcut key management, and background task running, and also fixes issues such as Windows installation package startup and macOS windows.

The only official installation packages currently available are for macOS Apple Silicon and Windows x64. The Mac version uses a Developer ID signature from Hangzhou DeepSeek and has passed Apple notarization.
