A whale holding a ZEC short position for nearly half a month was forced to close, incurring a loss of over $10 million.

BlockBeats news, September 19: According to EmberCN monitoring, as ZEC surged to $1,584 earlier this morning, a short whale that had held a ZEC short position for half a month was forced to close it:

The address closed a ZEC short position worth approximately $24.43 million at a price near $1,548, ultimately realizing a loss of about $10.68 million. Since its liquidation price was $1,551, after the ZEC price approached the liquidation line, the whale chose to proactively close the position to avoid forced liquidation.

Previously, this trader had accumulated profits of about $9.11 million since June, with a historical trading win rate of 79%. After this failed ZEC short, nearly all of the profits previously accumulated were given back.
