BlockBeats news, September 18: Johann Kerbrat, General Manager of Robinhood International and Crypto, stated that Robinhood has upgraded the dividend rights processing mechanism for stock tokens. The relevant rights will now be automatically credited on the ex-dividend date, rather than waiting until the dividend payment date weeks later, thereby allowing holders to obtain economic rights close to the corresponding stock more quickly, reducing dividend dilution after the ex-dividend date, and making token pricing more tight.
This feature has covered most stock tokens and will be expanded to more products in the future. Robinhood also emphasized that stock tokens are tokenized debt securities, are not offered to persons within the United States or U.S. persons, and are restricted in jurisdictions such as Canada, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
