Bitcoin's trajectory echoes the 2022 script: Beware of short-term market rebounds followed by further declines.

BlockBeats news, September 17: The Federal Reserve raised interest rates by 25 basis points on September 16, and the market expects further rate hikes of 75 basis points may still occur over the next six months. Bitcoin is currently down about 40% from its high of around $126,000 in October, similar to the situation in March 2022 when it fell 40% from its November 2021 high of around $69,000 after the first rate hike.

After the March 2022 rate hike, Bitcoin rebounded about 18% within 12 days, then fell further by about 50%. The current trend may carry a similar risk of "rebound first, then decline," but a single historical cycle provides limited reference.
