SpaceXAI to Clean Up Subscription Chaos, Grok and Cursor to Unify Plans Within Weeks

Beating AI News Flash: SpaceXAI Product Lead Maxime Prades has confirmed that the company is unifying the subscription plans for Grok and Cursor, expected to be ready within a few weeks.

A user previously complained that the current plans are too messy, suggesting keeping only two subscription sets, X and Cursor, letting X Premium+ include Cursor Pro, and discontinuing Grok Build. Prades did not confirm these specific suggestions, only saying that the new plan is already in the works and inviting the user to preview the plan early and provide feedback.

The current system is indeed very convoluted. Cursor Pro, Pro+, and Ultra all include Grok Bot; SuperGrok and X Premium+ can also enable Grok Bot for Cursor accounts. However, Grok Bot usage on both sides does not stack, and subscriptions are still renewed separately. The Cursor community has also repeatedly asked recently about whether to buy SuperGrok Heavy or Cursor Ultra, and whether quotas are shared.
