Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev said in an interview with CNBC that asset tokenization is the future direction of the financial industry. He believes that once assets such as stocks are put on-chain, it will not only allow more users worldwide to gain investment exposure, but also enable instant settlement. More interestingly, many of the trading settlement issues exposed during the 2021 GameStop and AMC saga may all be solved by this new on-chain infrastructure in the future.
