BlockBeats News, September 9 — Crypto KOL Rune (@RuneCrypto_) has raised questions about LAPTOP's claimed "no insiders" and "fair launch." He stated that despite the project announcing the launch two days in advance and claiming no insider allocation, eligible Hunter Biden Substack subscribers each received 4,276 LAPTOP tokens, which at peak prices made each airdrop worth approximately $1 million.
Rune noted that multiple newly created wallets with no prior trading history immediately sold off after claiming the airdrop, with millions of LAPTOP tokens already claimed and dumped, while the airdrop wallets still hold tokens valued at approximately $7.9 billion. He said LAPTOP has dropped 95% from its price 15 minutes earlier, attributing the selling pressure to airdrop claimants.
Rune sarcastically remarked that the project's so-called "insiders" are merely labeled "subscribers," who receive tokens for free without needing to buy in advance and can sell them to secondary market buyers.
