Global capital continues to aggressively buy U.S. assets, with overseas holdings approaching $39 trillion, hitting a record high.

BlockBeats News, September 7 - Despite occasional "sell America" rhetoric in the market, foreign investors' holdings of U.S. assets have risen to approximately $39 trillion, hitting a record high. This marks an increase of about $16 trillion, or 70%, from the 2022 bear market low, and has doubled from roughly $19 trillion during the pandemic period in 2020.


Among these, U.S. equities are the primary source of growth, with overseas holdings doubling to $24 trillion, accounting for about 62% of total holdings; U.S. Treasury holdings have also risen to a record $8 trillion, representing approximately 21%.
