BlockBeats News, August 31st, Etherscan officially released a new AI-focused tool suite, allowing developers and AI agents to directly access the same reliable on-chain data as the Etherscan website. The suite covers over 60 EVM-compatible chains and provides AI agents with structured, authenticated real-time data access capabilities through three methods: MCP, CLI, and Skills.
Among them, Etherscan MCP supports mainstream programming AI agents such as Claude and Codex to query on-chain information in natural language. The CLI tool can output clean JSON, table, or CSV results in the terminal and comes with an interactive interface. The Skills module includes built-in professional skills such as Orchestrator, Contract Inspection, Transaction Debugging, and Workflow Orchestration to help AI agents efficiently complete complex tasks.
Etherscan stated that these tools are designed to lower the barrier for AI to interact with blockchain data. Developers can directly refer to the official documentation for a quick start, and user feedback on the user experience or sharing of innovative applications built using these tools is welcome.
