Dynamic Beating AI News Flash: AI security startup Alice announced on Tuesday that it has raised $140 million, led by Apax Digital Funds, with participation from Samsung, SentinelOne, Maj Invest, MoreTech, and Phoenix Insurance. Following this round of funding, Alice has raised a total of $280 million, and Apax Digital will join the company's board of directors.
Headquartered in New York and Tel Aviv, Alice, formerly known as ActiveFence, primarily provides security testing and protection for AI models and intelligent agents. The company stated that its annual recurring revenue (ARR) is now close to $100 million, with over 500% growth in its AI business over the past two years.
As AI agents increasingly gain access to databases, internal software, APIs, and permissions for autonomous tasks, security risks such as keyword injections, jailbreaks, data leaks, and model anomalies continue to rise. Alice currently serves AI companies including Anthropic, Google, and Cohere, with its clients covering 8 of the top 10 global AI model vendors.
Under its Rabbit Hole division, Alice possesses a long-standing adversarial and harmful content dataset, with the company stating that the technology has now provided security protection for platforms reaching over 3 billion users. This financing will mainly be used to expand the AI security platform, grow the research team and business operations, as the company currently has over 150 AI security researchers.
