BlockBeats News, August 15th, ABFinance, a cryptocurrency financial platform founded by former Bybit Co-CEO Helen Liu, announced that the original online launch plan will no longer proceed and is currently undergoing an orderly shutdown.
ABFinance expressed gratitude on social media to all team members, community users, and partners who participated in the construction, stating, "Thank you all for your trust, support, and faith along the way."
In March of this year, after leaving Bybit, Helen Liu announced the launch of the entrepreneurial project ABFinance, with plans to create a one-stop financial platform connecting fiat and crypto assets, integrating functions such as deposits, yields, trading, and consumption, and emphasizing the establishment under the U.S. compliance licensing system from day one.
According to previous reports, Bybit announced that Helen Liu will step down on April 30, 2026, and embark on a personal entrepreneurial journey.
However, just about 5 months after ABFinance announced the project plan, the platform announced the cessation of the online launch and began the closure process. The specific reason for the shutdown has not been disclosed by the official sources.
