IBM and OpenAI Partner on Enterprise AI Deployment

BlockBeats News, August 13th - According to Bloomberg, IBM has signed a strategic partnership with OpenAI to accelerate secure AI deployment in enterprise core businesses. Through a joint launch with OpenAI, cutting-edge models such as GPT-5.6, Codex, and ChatGPT Work will be embedded in IBM Consulting's AI delivery platform to serve enterprise clients.

IBM will introduce a dedicated OpenAI business unit (OpenAI Practice) staffed with thousands of certified consultants and engineers. The collaboration targets industries such as financial services, government, telecommunications, and retail, as well as areas like corporate finance and human resources. IBM is joining the elite partner tier within the OpenAI framework. IBM's pre-market stock has risen by approximately 1.6%.
