Andrew Ng Launches AI Education Startup LearnVector for White-Collar Workers, Raises $100 Million Investment from Coursera

BlockBeats News, July 29th, Coursera (NYSE: COUR) announced that it has made a $100 million strategic equity investment in LearnVector, the new AI-native learning company founded by its co-founder Andrew Ng. This investment gives Coursera approximately a one-third stake in LearnVector, corresponding to a company valuation of around $3 billion.

LearnVector, founded and led by Andrew Ng, is positioned as an AI education startup targeting white-collar workers. Its core goal is to create a one-on-one personalized learning experience using an AI-powered agent, shifting from traditional "one-to-many" teaching to "one-to-one" personalized tutoring. The AI agent will plan a personalized path for each learner, adapt to their learning style, and provide continuous support until the skill is truly mastered. The first courses are expected to launch in early 2027, and the transaction has been unanimously approved by Coursera's Independent Directors Special Committee.
