ChatGPT Voice takes over the Desktop: Speak to Command Your Computer and Agent to Get Things Done

According to Dynamic Beating monitoring, OpenAI has officially integrated ChatGPT Voice into its desktop app. Users can now directly control their computers using voice commands and instruct multiple agents from ChatGPT Work or Codex to perform tasks simultaneously.

The new feature is powered by GPT-Live. It can engage in continuous conversations with users while coordinating background tasks within the app. The long-awaited "chat in the front, work in the back" functionality is finally live today.

The feature has started rolling out globally to macOS and Windows, covering Plus, Pro, Business, Education, and Enterprise users. iOS users can also remotely access Codex through voice commands on their phones, with Android support coming soon.
