Coinbase Establishes Office in Singapore, Continues to Expand Presence in Asia Pacific

BlockBeats News, July 23rd, According to techinasia report, Coinbase's Singapore lead, Hassan Ahmed, stated that the company plans to increase the number of Singapore employees from the current level of about 150 to around 200 by the end of 2026. The focus of future hiring will be on positions in engineering, customer service, client relations management, and institutional sales.

On the same day, Coinbase officially opened its Singapore office located in One Raffles Quay. Ahmed stated that Singapore is "one of the most trusted financial centers globally and one of Coinbase's fastest-growing international markets."

He said, "The new office reflects our long-term confidence in Singapore as a hub for innovation, talent, and responsible growth in the Asia-Pacific region, and will also help us work more closely with local regulatory authorities, continue to invest in talent, and further expand partnerships."
