According to TechCrunch, ByteDance has launched the Seed Scientist Program, aiming to invite 100 leading scholars in the field of STEM. Participants will collaborate with the Seed team for about 6 months to use AI to solve real-world scientific problems.
The participation is divided into Scientist Advisors and Doctoral Interns. The former is open to academia and industry experts, while the latter is aimed at current STEM Ph.D. students. Applicants should have deep experience in using AI for research, with proficient programmers being preferred.
Seed will provide computing power, AI team collaboration, and compensation. The project requires on-site participation in Haidian, Beijing, and the application deadline is September 30, 2026.
