Jianai Medical, a company selling test kits, hit the daily price limit again, with investments from DeepSeek, Dark Side of the Moon, and Starfall.

According to Dongxichat Monitoring, Jiuan Medical has hit the daily limit up for the fourth consecutive trading day, achieving a four-day winning streak. The company expects its net profit attributable to the parent in the first half of the year to be between 2.8 billion yuan and 3.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 204.29% to 269.50%. The significant profit growth mainly comes from the valuation increase of its investments in scientific and technological innovation. In the latest unusual price movement announcement, Jiuan Hong Kong has indirectly invested 750 million yuan in DeepSeek through Tianjin Shixiang. Upon completion of the transaction, its equity penetration will be approximately 0.21%, with no involvement in the operation.

Jiuan Medical has also invested in two other domestic large-scale companies. In August 2023 and March 2024, its subsidiary made two investments in Moon's Dark Side, with amounts of approximately $10 million and $20 million, respectively. In June 2026, the company further invested 100 million yuan in Jieyue Xingchen through the Begonia-Sunrise Fund. The shareholding ratios of these investments are relatively low, primarily serving as financial investments.

The 2025 annual report shows that Jiuan Medical has subscribed 2.48 billion yuan to a scientific and technological innovation mother fund. After leveraging, the sub-fund pool is expected to be close to 13.7 billion yuan. The company has another six direct investment projects with a total investment of 330 million yuan. While medical equipment remains its core business, profits are increasingly affected by the valuation of primary market projects. The company also warns that these investments have a long payback period, low liquidity, and are exposed to risks of valuation decline and losses.
