According to DappRadar, Instagram lead Adam Mosseri stated that in the next year or two, the AI Token costs for high-skilled engineers could approach their salary or overall employment cost.
At that time, Meta may set a cap on the amount of Tokens for each engineer. The limit will depend on whether the company believes this money can bring a positive return on investment.
Meta has not yet set any limits. The company had previously shut down internal Token burn leaderboards.
Mosseri mentioned that such leaderboards only encourage employees to "burn Tokens" without necessarily creating value. The corporate attitude towards AI is shifting from encouraging usage to focusing on the input-output ratio of computation.
