U.S. Stocks Open Slightly Up, Micron Up Over 6%, Meta Down 3.4%, Storage, and CPO Stage a Broad-based Rally

BlockBeats News, July 9th, as the U.S. stock market opened, the Dow rose by 0.08%, the S&P 500 Index increased by 0.2%, and the Nasdaq rose by 0.2%. According to BIT (bit.com) market data, Micron Technology surged over 6%, with the company's U.S. investment set to expand to over $250 billion by 2035. Qualcomm rose by 1.9%, Meta fell by 3.4%, and the company plans to commence production of an AI chip in September.


Storage stocks saw a general increase, with STX up by 6.77%, WDC up by 7.02%, and SanDisk up by 4.93%.


CPO concept stocks also rebounded significantly, with AAOI up by 5.81% and LITE up by 7.97%.


AI equipment manufacturers also performed well, with LRCX up by 10.76% and AMAT up by 9.87%.


As for other prominent heavyweight stocks, NVIDIA dipped by 0.11%, while SPCX rose by 1.47%.
