BlockBeats News, July 8th, Wormhole announced that the Moonbeam Network will officially shut down on July 31, 2026. During the transition period, the Moonbeam parachain will continue to operate, but will cease operations after July 31.

Wormhole stated that at that time, Portal and Wormhole contributors will not be able to assist in recovering assets left on the Moonbeam chain. Users are advised to withdraw external assets through official Moonbeam channels before the deadline. Previously, Moonbeam had announced its exit from the Polkadot ecosystem and migrated the GLMR token at a 1:1 ratio to the Base Network.
