WaterX has officially launched the WaterX Predict prediction market and simultaneously kicked off a one-month event called the "WaterX Predict Festival."

BlockBeats News, July 7th. According to official sources, the Sui AI native transaction platform WaterX has officially launched the prediction market (WaterX Predict) and simultaneously launched a month-long "WaterX Predict Festival" event.

WaterX Predict features interactive "Slide to Predict" functionality, allowing users to complete predictions by simply sliding to choose the supported side without the need to understand market depth, odds, or spreads. The platform also introduced a Gift Link feature, allowing users to package a prediction position into a link to share with others, who can receive it with a single click, reducing the barrier to entry for new users. The official statement mentioned that this design aims to enable Web2 users and sports enthusiasts to easily participate in the prediction market.

To complement the launch of the prediction market, WaterX has concurrently introduced the "Predict Festival" event, spanning the 2026 World Cup and lasting for a month. According to official descriptions, the event rule is that users can accumulate "treasure chests" by making daily predictions, with the accumulated active days during the event period determining the chest's level. Each transaction can also earn additional USD rewards, up to 10% of the transaction amount (e.g., for a $100 transaction, the maximum reward is $10). During the event, apart from the World Cup, various prediction markets such as crypto and esports are also eligible for accumulating treasure chests.

Reportedly, WaterX has been selected for the Sui Foundation's Moonshots Program, receiving official ecosystem support. The event started on July 7th and will continue until August 7th.
