According to In Motion Beating monitoring, the open-source AI agent framework OpenClaw's mobile app has been officially launched on the iOS and Android app stores. This mobile app is not a standalone AI chat software, but a companion node to the local self-hosted gateway.
Its core logic runs entirely on the user's computer, with the phone serving as a physical extension of the Agent for providing camera, geolocation, voice interaction, and notification push. To protect privacy, the mobile app adopts strict authorization command control, with sensitive permissions such as screen capture or photo taking defaulting to off and requiring explicit authorization on the local gateway.
The current initial version still has some page crashes and freezes, and a counterfeit ClawOS app with the same logo has appeared in the app store. When downloading, please make sure to recognize the official lobster icon.
