Analyst: US 10-Year Treasury Yield May Lack Clear Direction

BlockBeats News, June 26th, SEB Chief Strategist Jussi Hiljanen stated in a report that as the market's hope for a lasting peace agreement between the United States and Iran grows, the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield has risen to 4.40%, and may fluctuate around this level in the coming months.

He said, "We believe that the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield may lack a clear trend in the coming months, spending most of the time fluctuating in the range of 4.30% to 4.50%."

Hiljanen mentioned that SEB still believes that a lasting resolution to the Middle East conflict alone is unlikely to trigger a downtrend in the U.S. Treasury yield, as this would require macroeconomic data and the Fed's policy communication to provide support.
