BlockBeats News, May 18th, according to Hyperinsight Monitoring, during the recent market volatility, the two major institutional liquidity provider addresses on the Hyperliquid platform have significantly reduced their positions or completely exited, with a total estimated scale of up to $100 million. Details are as follows:
In the past 2 hours, the Auros Global liquidity provider address liquidated all its positions on the platform and withdrew approximately $6 million to Binance. Previously, this liquidity provider had provided liquidity for 175 tokens on the platform, with the BTC liquidity alone amounting to $45 million.
At the same time, the well-known liquidity provider Wintermute's address has also substantially reduced its exposure on Hyperliquid recently. Hyperinsight compared the data and found that its liquidity provision on BTC and ETH has decreased by about 90%.
Previously, its combined liquidity provision for the two major coins was around $40 million, which has now sharply decreased to $4 million. Although still holding positions and maintaining high-frequency orders on 111 tokens, the total position size has dropped from nearly $80 million to $41 million.
