The probability on Polymarket of the "Sell Any Bitcoin Before the End of the Year" strategy has surged to 49%.

BlockBeats News, May 6th, Polymarket: The probability of Strategy selling any amount of Bitcoin by the end of the year has significantly increased to 49% (from 12% on May 5th). Additionally, the probabilities of selling any Bitcoin by May 31, 2026, and June 30, 2026, are 17% and 26%, respectively.

Previously, Strategy's founder Michael Saylor, for the first time, deviated from the "never sell" stance. During the first-quarter 2026 earnings call, he mentioned the possibility of selling a portion of the Bitcoin holdings to fund dividends, stating, "We might sell some Bitcoin to pay dividends, with the aim of market desensitization and signaling that we have indeed done so."
