BlockBeats News, May 7th, Anthropic announced a hashrate partnership agreement with SpaceX, leveraging its Colossus 1 data center's entire hashrate resources to enhance the capacity and usage limits of the Claude series products.
Anthropic stated that this partnership would add over 300 megawatts of hashrate within one month, equivalent to over 220,000 NVIDIA GPUs, directly improving the user experience of Claude Pro and Claude Max. The company also announced that effective immediately, the five-hour rate limit for Claude Code has been doubled for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise users, peak time throttling has been lifted for Pro and Max users, and the Claude Opus API limit has been significantly increased.
In addition, Anthropic disclosed several AI infrastructure partnerships, including reaching a maximum 5GW agreement with Amazon, 5GW agreements with Google and Broadcom, and a $30 billion Azure hashrate partnership with Microsoft and NVIDIA. Anthropic also mentioned that it is exploring joint development with SpaceX on multigigawatt-level "orbital AI hashrate" infrastructure.
