According to Dynamic Insight's monitoring, xAI's AI chatbot Grok has officially launched the Connectors feature on the web version, open to all SuperGrok Heavy and SuperGrok paid users. Musk retweeted the related post and commented "Progress."
Currently, it supports 5 pre-built connectors: Gmail, GitHub, Google Calendar, Notion, and Google Drive. Users can also create custom connectors to integrate with other services. After connecting, Grok can directly access emails, calendar events, code repositories, Notion notes, and cloud files in the conversation, eliminating the need for manual copy-pasting or tab switching.
Previously, the Google Drive connector was launched for Grok Business and Enterprise enterprise clients, indexing files through xAI's Collections API and strictly adhering to Google Drive's permission controls. This expansion of Connectors to the consumer end means that individual paid users can also allow Grok to directly access their work data, using natural language to perform tasks such as inbox summaries, meeting preparation, and code repository analysis.
