Multiple vessels attempted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz but ultimately turned back

BlockBeats News, April 18th, according to Xinhua News Agency, ship tracking data shows that about 10 ships attempted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz on the 18th, but ultimately turned back. Shipping routes indicate that multiple ships turned back after sailing near Iran's Larak Island. The data shows that most of these ships are oil tankers, with many of them having India as their destination in the Automatic Identification System.

Iranian Foreign Minister Amirabdollahian announced on the 17th the opening of the Strait of Hormuz to all merchant ships during the ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel. However, Iranian media reported on the 18th that due to the United States "repeatedly violating its commitments," the Iranian military has tightened its control over the Strait of Hormuz.
