UK asset manager Legal & General to onboard over £500 billion in funds onto the blockchain through the Calastone DLT network

BlockBeats News, April 16th, according to CoinDesk, UK asset management company Legal & General Asset Management announced on Wednesday that it has successfully tokenized over £500 billion (around $680 billion) of assets under management through Calastone's new distribution channel.

Legal & General Asset Management's liquidity investment specialist Ross McDonald stated, "We are thrilled to have our liquidity funds connected to Calastone's tokenized distribution network. Tokenization has significantly improved efficiency and coverage."
