BlockBeats News, April 1st: U.S. "Mini Non-Farm" Growth Exceeds Expectations. The U.S. ADP Employment Report showed an increase of 62,000 jobs in March, higher than the market's expectation of 40,000 jobs, roughly in line with the 63,000 jobs added the previous month. The U.S. Automatic Data Processing (ADP) company stated that March saw stable recruitment and wage growth. Small businesses remained the main driver of employment growth for the second consecutive month, while recruitment in the trade, transportation, and utilities sectors continued to decline.
ADP Chief Economist Nela Richardson stated that overall hiring remains stable, but job growth continues to tilt towards specific industries such as healthcare. In March, while the job market showed resilience, wage growth for job switchers also saw an increase. (FXStreet)
