US to Deploy Up to 17,000 Additional Troops to the Middle East as Massive Anti-War Protests Erupt Domestically

BlockBeats News, March 28th, According to multiple sources, U.S. President Trump is assessing the deployment of over 17,000 ground troops around Iran. Although this scale is far lower than the approximately 150,000 troops in the early stages of the 2003 Iraq War, it already has the capability to carry out limited military operations, including seizing strategic locations, controlling key resources, or implementing regional occupation.

Earlier reports stated that the Pentagon is considering further deploying up to an additional 10,000 troops on top of the existing approximately 7,000 troops, with the additional forces potentially including infantry, armored units, and logistical support. Analysts believe that this move demonstrates the U.S. maintaining a "dual-track strategy" between diplomatic negotiations and military pressure.

Meanwhile, domestic opposition in the U.S. continues to intensify. The "No Kings" protest movement is planning to launch over 3,000 rallies nationwide this Saturday, opposing the Trump administration's policies, with topics covering anti-immigration measures and the military action against Iran. Organizers say that this action may become one of the largest protest days in American history, with large-scale demonstrations expected in major cities such as Washington, Chicago, and San Francisco.
