「Abraxas Capital」 Goes Big on $16 Million Short Position as it Anticipates Positive Outcome of US-Iran Negotiations and Potential Oil Price Surge

BlockBeats News, March 26th, according to Hyperinsight Monitoring, the anticipation of a US-Iran negotiation ceasefire has been fluctuating. However, the oil prices of the US and Brent have both surged. Against this background, the TOP 1 and TOP 2 addresses in the Brent crude oil chain, known as "Abraxas Capital," significantly increased their holdings. In the past 1 hour, these two addresses simultaneously added to their positions, with a combined short-term increase of $16 million. The average price of the additional positions is around $99.6.

Following this round of accumulation, the total position size of the two short positions has now risen to $66.4 million, with a comprehensive average price of around $103 and a settlement price mean of $140. Due to the short-term surge in oil prices, the floating profit has narrowed from $3 million to $2.2 million.
