OpenAI Senior Researcher in Core AI Joins Anthropic

BlockBeats News, March 4th, OpenAI Principal Research Scientist Max Schwarzer announced his resignation on X platform and his move to Anthropic.

It is reported that Schwarzer was one of the early contributors to the o1 inference model. He led the post-training of o1 and o3 and has led the entire post-training team over the past year, delivering GPT-5, 5.1, 5.2, and 5.3-Codex.

Max stated that after joining Anthropic, he will be engaged in reinforcement learning research.
