Bitget Wallet Releases Annual Summary: Swap and Derivatives Trading Volume Significantly Increase, Crypto Wallet Usage Shifts Focus from Trading to "Spending + Saving"

BlockBeats News, December 31st, a 2025 data review released by Bitget Wallet showed that the application scenarios of cryptocurrency wallets are shifting from a past focus on trading to areas such as payments, stablecoin usage, and on-chain yield farming. Despite a year-end decline in market sentiment, stablecoin payments and on-chain yield activities continue to grow, indicating that some cryptocurrency usage behaviors are gradually decoupling from short-term market fluctuations.

On the trading side, in 2025, Bitget Wallet's monthly Swap trading volume exceeded $9 billion, a 232% year-on-year increase; monthly perpetual contract trading volume approached $50 billion, a 291% year-on-year increase. During the same period, the share of decentralized perpetual contracts in perpetual trading has reached 18.7%, nearly tripling since the beginning of the year, reflecting a trend of users migrating to on-chain derivative markets.

Payment scenarios have become a new growth driver for wallet usage. Since the launch of the Bitget Wallet Crypto Card in July, monthly spending has grown by over 6 times. Currently, the wallet supports card payments, national QR code payments, local bank transfers, and in-app purchases, accommodating the overall global trend of stablecoin transactions reaching around $46 trillion annually.

In terms of yield farming, Bitget Wallet's Earn product has seen a quarterly subscription volume of nearly $2 billion, a growth of over 10 times since the beginning of the year, mainly driven by stablecoin financial management products and collaborations with top DeFi protocols. Against the backdrop of an overall cautious market, user demand for on-chain yield with predictable returns continues to rise.
