Israel Strikes Iran Prediction Market Update: Final Ultimatum Imminent, Potential "Second War"

BlockBeats News, December 2nd, Polymarket today updated two key upcoming dates for the Israel vs. Iran market related to today's Israeli strike on Iran: March 31, 2026, and June 30, 2026. The reason for choosing these two dates is that they align closely with the "strike window" of the Israeli hawkish faction. According to predictions from Mossad and U.S. intelligence agencies, although Iran was damaged in the June 2025 war, its missile production line has made a remarkable recovery, and it is expected to restore its ballistic missile stockpile to a critical deterrence level of 4,000 missiles by March 2026. Additionally, Israel has set final retreat deadlines for the Lebanese armed forces and Hezbollah on December 7th and December 31st, respectively. Market logic suggests that once the year-end ultimatums expire, Israel is highly likely to launch a preemptive strike in the first quarter of next year to destroy Iran's rebuilt underground missile factories.

Looking back, the essence of this market is essentially betting on the "Second War" after the "12th War" in June 2025. In the previous round of conflict, Israel conducted a 12-day comprehensive air strike on Iran's nuclear facilities at Natanz and Fordo, and the monthly period for the June of that year in the prediction market was the only settlement month as "yes," while past settlements from July to present have all settled as "no." However, with the recent International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) passing a harsh condemnation resolution and Iran launching advanced centrifuges in retaliation, the nuclear crisis has reignited. There is widespread concern in the market that this time the conflict will no longer be limited to targeted strikes but may escalate into a full-scale war against the Iranian regime itself or its oil facilities.
