2025-05-14 20:26

BlockBeats News, May 14th, the Ethereum Foundation announced the launch of the "Trillion-Dollar" Security Initiative, a plan that covers the entire ecosystem and aims to upgrade Ethereum's security to help the world move towards a blockchain-based future. The plan includes three parts: "Full-Stack Security Map Drawing," "Key Domain Breakthroughs," and "Security Awareness Upgrade."

The term "Trillion-Dollar" in this plan refers to the tens of billions of individuals willing to store over $1000 worth of assets on-chain, totaling tens of trillions of dollars stored on Ethereum. Companies, institutions, or governments can easily store over $1 trillion worth of value in a single contract or application.

The entire plan is co-chaired by Fredrik Svantes (Protocol Security Lead) and Josh Stark (EF Management Team). The Security Alliance SEAL's founder and Paradigm security advisor samczsun, Sigma Prime co-founder Mehdi Zerouali, and Etherealize co-founder Zach Obront serve as advisors to the project.
