BlockBeats News, February 11th, Bloomberg's Digital Asset Analyst James Seyffart and Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas publicly revealed their approval probability predictions for four cryptocurrency ETF applications, including the highly anticipated Solana ETF.
According to Bloomberg's analysts' assessment, Solana has a 70% probability of formally entering the traditional financial market by October 10, 2025 (the final decision deadline of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission SEC). Seyffart and Balchunas are optimistic because the SEC recently formally accepted Grayscale's 19b-4 application, a key development never achieved under former SEC Chairman Gary Gensler's leadership.
While the approval probability of a spot Solana ETF is as high as 70%, analysts believe that another smaller-market-cap altcoin is more likely to be the first to land on Wall Street—Litecoin (LTC). LTC currently ranks 17th in the global crypto market, with its ETF approval probability assessed at 90%. The main reason is that the SEC has classified Litecoin as a Commodity, similar to Bitcoin's regulatory positioning, making it more likely to be approved.
