ARPA Network’s Randcast launches Taiko to provide developers with an on-chain random number solution

According to BlockBeats, on August 15, ARPA Network announced that its on-chain verifiable random number generator Randcast has been officially launched on the Ethereum Layer 2 solution Taiko. This integration further expands Randcast's service scope on Ethereum, Optimism, Base, and Redstone, providing a flexible and reliable random number solution for decentralized applications (dApps) and Web3 games.

Randcast uses the BLS threshold signature scheme of the ARPA network to ensure the verifiability and security of random numbers, which is particularly suitable for NFT generation and on-chain game development. With the launch of Randcast on Taiko, developers can enjoy a secure and convenient on-chain random number service while reducing costs. Currently, Randcast v0.1.0 is free, and developers only need to subscribe to an account to pay for Gas fees.
