Exciting events never stop, it's more than just Token 2049.

The leading Web3 cryptocurrency conference in Asia, TOKEN2049, will be held at Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore from September 13th to 14th, 2023. During this Web3 event, Taiko, an Ethereum Layer2 network based on zkRollup, has also prepared a series of exciting activities, including keynote speeches, technical discussions, hackathons, and networking nights.

Taiko is an Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution based on ZK-Rollup. It is currently building the world's first ZK-Rollup (Type 1 zkEVM) equivalent to Ethereum, in order to maximize compatibility with Ethereum in terms of technology and ideology. Taiko's permissionless design maximizes decentralization and security, while supporting the reuse of all Ethereum tools and code to ensure the smoothest development experience.

As of now, Taiko has raised a total of $22 million through two rounds of financing: the first round was a $10 million seed round led by Sequoia China, completed in the third quarter of 2022; the second round was a $12 million Pre-A round led by Generative Ventures this year.
