Binance has become the only Web3 awarded enterprise in the 2023 Hong Kong Cybersecurity Elite Commendation Program.

BlockBeats news reported on February 29th that the "Cyber Security Elite Recognition Program", jointly organized by the Hong Kong Police Force, the Hong Kong Government Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (GovCERT.HK), and the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT), held its 4th award ceremony to recognize outstanding performance of cybersecurity professionals in various industries. Binance was awarded the Excellence Award in the Banking and Finance category, and was also the only Web3 enterprise representative to receive an award at this event. The Cyber Security Elite Recognition Program, which was first held in 2016, is a landmark cybersecurity professional award in Hong Kong that aims to recognize outstanding achievements and professional skills of cybersecurity professionals from different industries. Carlos Mak, a member of the Binance investigation team, stated that "Binance believes that close cooperation with law enforcement and regulatory agencies is essential in combating illegal activities in the industry.
