SkyBridge has achieved a return rate of 16% this year due to the surge in Bitcoin.
According to BlockBeats news on February 29th, as reported by Bloomberg, SkyBridge Capital, a hedge fund led by Anthony Scaramucci, has achieved a return rate of 16% year-to-date in the market environment of Bitcoin's significant rise. "Our digital asset business has risen by about 35%, so we have had a very strong start to the year," Scaramucci said in an interview with Bloomberg News in Abu Dhabi. He mentioned that over the past 14 months, SkyBridge's asset base has grown by 40%.
Scaramucci's comments were made on Wednesday when Bitcoin was hovering below $60,000. Since then, the price of Bitcoin has further risen, approaching its historical high. Currently, about one-third of SkyBridge's total assets of $2.4 billion are invested in cryptocurrencies. "I am confident that the price of Bitcoin will double in the next 18 months, and if this becomes a reality, then the proportion of these assets will increase," Scaramucci said.
