Telegram plans to offer discounted sales of TON to long-term investors in order to limit their token holdings to 10%.
BlockBeats news on February 29th: In response to concerns from the community about the possible concentration of its Toncoin holdings, Telegram announced new measures to restrict its position in TON supply to approximately 10%. The company plans to sell excess Toncoin to long-term investors at a price lower than market value, and these shares will be subject to a lock-up and linear unlocking plan for 1 to 4 years, reducing the free float in the market, stabilizing the ecosystem, and reducing volatility.
Telegram has also set up a new email address, investors@telegram.org, for large investors with an intention to purchase of $1 million or more.
