Tether has authorized the issuance of 1 billion USDT on the Ethereum network, but it has not yet been released.

BlockBeats reported on January 9th that according to monitoring by Whale Alert, Tether has added 1 billion USDT to the Ethereum network. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that this 1 billion USDT is a supplement to the inventory on the Tron network. This is an authorized but unissued transaction, meaning that this issuance will be used for the next issuance request and cross-chain exchange inventory.
