Indian e-commerce platform Flipkart will build an L2 network based on Polygon CDK to expand its Web3 loyalty program.
BlockBeats reported on December 7th that Indian e-commerce company Flipkart will launch a ZK Layer2 network based on Ethereum, built using the Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK) to expand its FireDrops Web3 loyalty program. FireDrops 2.0 will be supported by the Hang loyalty platform, which aims to incentivize brand loyalty through gamification. Since its launch in September, FireDrops has attracted over 3.3 million wallets holding at least one NFT, with nearly one-third belonging to female shoppers.
As previously reported by BlockBeats, on December 2nd, 2022, Polygon announced a strategic partnership with Flipkart, a subsidiary of Walmart. Flipkart will establish a blockchain e-commerce center focused on the development of Web3 and metaverse e-commerce.
