Bitcoin Core v26.0 has been officially released.

According to official sources, Bitcoin Core v26.0 has been officially released on December 6th, as reported by BlockBeats. The new version features experimental support for the v2 transmission protocol defined in BIP324. Additionally, nodes with multiple reachable networks will actively attempt to establish at least one external connection in each network, improving individual and network-level resistance to partition attacks. Users no longer need to take active measures to ensure connections to multiple enabled networks. The new version also adds "loadtxoutset", allowing for the loading of UTXO snapshots in the format generated by "dumptxoutset".
